A four-year course in Electrotechnology is the standard level of education that most electricians begin with. While learning, they also participate in paid and unpaid apprenticeships and traineeships. In order to conduct electrical work in Victoria, all electricians must be licensed and registered. An electrician’s license is normally valid for up to five years, and there are a number of criteria that need to be matched.
To apply to be licensed, an application form must be lodged with evidence of apprenticeship completion, evidence of experience, and more.
